Carlingford :)

Hello :D

I've had a quite eventful few days, thank god! On Monday the 17th, my whole year and I set off on a two day adventure to Carlingford in Louth.
   Peace Out,

We left the near by garage at seven o' clock Monday morning. The drive was an hour and a half long but flew by quickly with the bant on the bus. Evereyone was excited, giggling and clilling out waiting for the arrival in their new home for the next two days.
When the bus stopp, everyone scattered to collect their baggage and call the room they wanted. Firstly, we gathered in a small tennis court as the co-ordinators brushed through the rules and regulations.
As soon as we left our bags, safetly, in our rooms, we started our outdoor activities. My group started off with Lazer Tag. This was madness, but it was so fun! Everyone dressed up in camoflagued overalls and scurried up to the forest.
The atmosphere was tense but the excitement killed it, as you got a shot here and there off someone that was hid so carefully that you couldnt even see them.
Later, when we came back from the Lazer Tag and had some food, we were then instructed we were going Kikacking. The water was cold and the wind would cut you like a knife! My group was quickly dressed in red and black wetsuits and set off in the lake.
Everone was in need of some hot chocolate when they got back, but that was to be expected. All the TY's chilled out for a bit as we waited for dinner.
That night it was still wet and windy but we travelled up to the forest again to an activity called the Night-Line. This was where everyone was blindfolded and had to make their way through the forest. Although it was fun, everone came back to the hostel soaked and all muddy! We changed for bed and I have to say, it was the best night sleep i've ever gotten!
The next morning, we were up, awake, packed and out of our rooms at eight o'clock. Tea and toast was on my menu for breakfast. It wasn't long before the group gathered again together and set off on another adventure. This time we went to the high ropes.
The group was split in two and one team climbed 8 poles, while the other climbed a ten foot high pole. Most people mad it two the top, but for me it was a waste of energy.
We then went off and did a group activity where we had to work as a team to complete certan tasks, this was fun enought but everyone was tired and just wanted to go home.
As soon as we went back to the hostel, we gathered out bags and legged it for the bus! The journey home was quite and relaxed, it was as if no one had the energy to even talk. We arrived home at seven o'clock tuesday evening.
I had the best time in Carlingford with all my friends and peers. I'd like to thank all the instructors that accompanied us on our adventures and to Mrs. Leahy, Mrs. Bowes and Mr. Kennedy, as they all have given me memories that I will share and pass on to my future children etc etc haha!
